Back in Saturday, December 15, 2018, Square Enix team got a ugly fact that some copies of Kingdom Hearts III has been stolen, and so some videos and screenshots are wildly circulating in the internet. Quoted from kh13, they found evidence that revealed that one man stole one or more copies (reportedly, at least 30) of the English version of Kingdom Hearts III for Xbox One.
The man seems to have obtained the copies using connections he has with an employee of a company in charge of printing/packaging Kingdom Hearts III for Xbox One. He has since tried to sell his copies, uploading some very short game footage to prove the copies were legitimate. The seller claimed he has sold over ten copies.
Tetsuya Nomura has also released a statement about the leak. Nomura-san stated that he and the team were aware of this leak, and thus very sorry because of it, everyone one were working together to investigate it. He also added for us to enjoy the game together when it had been released. You can read the statement here.
And a latest news is coming yesterday from Quinton Flynn, the voice actor of Axel, he states that he heard that the leaker has been “captured.” You can view the voice actors tweet below.
Last I heard they captured the guy responsible.

If you somehow find these spoilers, please don’t share it, don’t be the part of this horrible crime, and most importantly don’t buy the pirate copy. Many people had work so hard to make Kingdom Heart III.
