Akiba’s Beat Western Release Date Gets Delayed to Q1 2017

Akiba's Beat - Gameplay & Delay

Fans are requested to wait a little longer for Akiba’s Beat to release in the west, as it is getting delayed to Q1 2017Acquire announced during Tokyo Otaku Mode‘s panel at Tokyo Game Show 2016. This is due to the delay of the Japanese version, and they need more time to work on the English localization.

The director of the game, Touka Takano, played the game for around 30 minutes, and was livestreamed on Tokyo Otaku Mode’s Twitch channel. The gameplay footage starts at 05:46:40 and ends at 06:15:35, so skip to that part if you want to check out on the game play.

Akiba’s Beat will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita this winter in Japan, and in Q1 2017 in the west. See all Tokyo Game Show 2016 news coverage here.
