As an addition to the story of its predecessor and giving the chance to get multiple endings, The Caligula Effect: Overdose allows the player to join the antagonists. While doing this notorious plot, some characters that were supposed to be your enemies can join the party. Hence, you can experience to get a party of both Go-Home Club and The Musicians.
But, there is also a way to get the characters from these conflicting groups joining the party as one. In brief, you can mix and match your party members from both the Go-Home Club and the Musicians. To unlock this unique feature, there are some steps that you need to do. Therefore, follow these tips on how to get a party from both Go-Home Club and the Musicians.
Making Party from Both Groups – Getting the New Game+
First of all, you need to get to the New Game+ feature. Only by playing at the New Game+ you can finish the requirement to unlock this feature. But, one time play at the New Game+ is highly unlikely to fully fulfill the requirement to unlock the feature to make a party from both groups. Therefore, you need to do, at least, two times of New Game+ play through and try your best to finish the requirements as soon as possible.
Making Party from Both Groups – Max Affinity from All Characters
When I say about the requirement on unlocking the feature to make a party from both parties, it means that you need to get max affinity from all characters. To get all characters reached their max affinity is also not that simple. Multiple times of doing the New Game+ play through is mandatory.
For example, in one play through, you need to kick Eiji in order to get Kuchinushi’s affinity to max. Another example, getting Ayana’s affinity to max is also pretty hard when you choose male as your character’s gender. Due to these reasons, one time play through of New Game+ seems impossible to unlock the feature to make a party from both party members.
Making Party from Both Groups – Beat the Final Boss Once Again
Once you have reached max affinity from all characters at both the Go-Home Club and the Musicians, you need to beat the final boss again. It does not matter which route you do in defeating the final boss again, as long as you have max affinity from all characters, you will be able to unlock this feature. Hence, just beat the final boss once again after you have max affinity from all playable characters.
Making Party from Both Groups – Get the “Hidden Features Unlocked” Message
When done properly, after beating the final boss, you will get an in-game message stating that you have unlocked the hidden feature. This message is easily missed when you are in a fast-forward mode. After you get this message, you are one step away from getting the feature to make a party from both Go-Home Club and the Musicians.
Making Party from Both Groups – Find and Talk to Mu
The final step to unlock this feature is to find and talk to Mu. You can do this right after the congratulation message from beating the game. After you have talked to Mu, the feature to make a party from both Go-Home Club and the Musicians is in your hand.
Getting this feature might be a pain on the hands. But, once you unlock this feature, you can make new strategies with both Go-Home Club and the Musicians party members. Therefore, you can get new experience in playing The Caligula Effect: Overdose.
