7. Tales of Berseria (PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC)
Tales of Berseria is a Japanese RPG developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Released in 2016, this game was made for Tales series’ fans who owned PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. Tales of Berseria is the sixteenth mothership title in the Tales series and also a prequel of Tales of Zestiria. The game revolves around the conflict between emotion and reason.
Tales of Berseria takes place in a world called Desolation, specifically in the Holy Midgand Empire, a powerful country that rules over Desolation’s archipelago of a continent (the game’s world is shared with Tales of Zestiria). Ys: Memories of Celceta is an action RPG developed by Nihon Falcom in Japan, 2012 for PlayStation Vita. A year later, it was released in North America by Xseed Games and in PAL regions by NIS America in 2014. The PC version was released the next year. Ys: Memories of Celceta is identified as the fourth canonical game in the series, after outsourced the development of Ys IV: Mask of the Sun and Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys.
The game takes place a year after the events of Ys II and about a year before Ys: The Oath in Felghana. The game is set in the land of Celceta, and begins when the series’ protagonist, Adol Christin arrives in the town of Casnan with amnesia due to unknown reasons. Ys: Memories of Celceta is an action RPG developed by Nihon Falcom. The game is part of the Xanadu series, and was developed out of the Nihon Falcom’s desire to create a game of different type and setting than their other RPG franchises. The game was first released in Japan for the PlayStation Vita in 2015. An enhanced version, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ was released for PlayStation 4 (2016) and PC (2017).

The game combines gameplay, narrative, and aesthetic elements from Atlus’s Shin Megami Tensei series and Nintendo’s Fire Emblem series. The game was released in Japan in 2015, and worldwide in 2016. An enhanced port for Switch entitled Tokyo Mirage Session #FE Encore was released in early 2020.
Taking place in modern-day Tokyo and featuring real-life locations such as Shibuya and Harajuku, the game centers around hostile being known as Mirages who seek to harvest energy known as Performa from humans and are responsible for several disappearances. The story follows a group of teenagers who become allied with friendly Mirages and fight to protect innocent people while trying to find out who is behind the attacks.

Playing Persona series might give you an unforgettable experience, but let us not being too fanatic this time.
