6 Best PC MMORPG You Must Play! (Part 2)

Last week, we have already discussed the 6 best PC MMORPG part 1. So now, let us continue to the second and last part of best PC MMORPG. The rule is still the same; these games are a must-play MMORPG that you can play on PC. The excitement is still the same, you will find these PC MMORPG to be some of the best that you must never miss, with some of them have already become legends.

1. Warframe

Warframe is a free-to-play cooperative action RPG combined with third-person shooter game developed and published by Digital Extremes in 2013. The game is originally created for PC, but because of the good reception it was later ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.

In Warframe, players will control members of the Tenno, race of ancient warriors who have awoken from centuries of cryosleep to find themselves at war in planetary system with different factions. The Tenno will use their powered Warframes along with powerful weapons and abilities to complete missions with procedurally-generated levels, including large open world area similar to other MMORPG.

2. Lineage II

Lineage II is a MMORPG developed by NCSoft for PC in 2003. The game is the second game in Lineage series, and a prequel to Lineage, with the story is set 150 years before the first game. The unique thing in this game is the hack-and-slash combat, way too different with the other MMORPG at the time. You can do a lot of quests and fight monsters along the way while collecting the loots.

3. Ragnarok Online

Ragnarok Online is a very popular MMORPG developed by Gravity based on the manhwa Ragnarok by Lee Myung-jin. It was released inititally in South Korea in 2002 for PC and since then has become a very happening game in many countries. The class and level system make this game is really addictive, along with many important items we can get from monsters that are possible to be sold in a very high price.

4. Eve Online

Eve Online is a space-based, persistent world MMORPG developed and published by CCP Games in 2003. Players can participate in a numbers of in-game professions and activities, including mining, piracy, manufacturing, trading, exploration, and combat. There are also a lot of spaceship crafts that you can utilize to raise the attack, damage, and defense of your spaceship in order to survive in the space combat.

5. Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2 is a MMORPG developed by ArenaNet and published by NCSoft for PC. Initially released in 2012, this game can give you a chance to become a hero with your own style. The unique experience system and player’s equipment can get even more addicted. For MMORPG lovers, Guild Wars 2 is not an odd name; many of the MMORPG lovers around the world have already play it long before you read this.

6. Dungeon Fighter Online

Dungeon Fighter Online or DFO in short, is a multiplayer PC beat ‘em up game developed and published by Neople, a South Korean subsidiary of Nexon, and originally published by Hangame in 2005. Although it uses 2D visuals and classic theme, the beat ‘em up gameplay is always ready anytime to get you addicted. Players can unleash combos and skills by learning it and gaining experience.

With the two parts of PC MMORPG, now you don’t have the reason to think that it is hard to find a nice MMORPG on PC. Some of the games have already known as legends by now, and became a role model for the recent MMORPG. Among all, for me Ragnarok Online is the most unforgettable. Even the gameplay mechanism is still being used in the new and latest MMORPG you can find today. Truly a legend.
