5 New Released RPG in Late 2019!

RPG has become more and more popular than it was back then. As far as I can remember, it is a lot easier to find adventure and action game in classic consoles. But now as time goes by, RPG has its own fanbase, and it is huge. Vary from handheld to console, we can now find RPG in all kind of platforms. As for this end of the year, here are 5 new released RPG for you waiting to be played.

1. The Outer Worlds (Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC)

The Outer Worlds is an action RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Private Division. The game was released on October 25, 2019 with the Nintendo Switch version to be released in 2020. The game is set in alternate future that diverged in 1901, when U.S President William McKinley is not assassinated and results in megacorporations colonizing and terraforming alien planets.

2. Warsaw (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC)

Warsaw is a turn-based tactical RPG developed by Pixelated Milk which was released in October 2019. The story takes place in a war torn city during World War II and sporting beautiful painted graphics. In this game, we will lead a small, dedicated outfit of civilians and soldiers with their unique skills in their fight to take back the city in Poland that was besieged by occupying force of Nazi.

3. Indivisible (Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC)

Indivisible is an action RPG developed by Lab Zero Games and published by 505 Games. The game was released in October 2019 with the Nintendo Switch version released later. The game follows the story of Ajna, a good-natured tomboy with a rebellious streak whose life is thrown into disarray when her village was burned. With an awakened ability during the chaos, she embarks on a journey to take revenge.

4. Disgaea 4 Complete + (Switch, PlayStation 4)

Disgaea 4 Complete + is a continuance of the famous tactical RPG Disgaea which was developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software. The game was released on October 29, 2019 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Taking place in Netherworld infested with zombie, vampire, and ghost, we will play as a vampire hero Valvatorez who is planning a revolution against the corrupted ruling powers of Hades.

5. Persona 5 Royal (PlayStation 4)

Persona 5 is an expanded version of the sixth installment of the Persona series, Persona 5. Still developed by Atlus (P-Studio) and published by Atlus USA, the game was released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in October 31, 2019 and will be released worldwide in 2020. Taking place in modern-day Tokyo, the game’s themes revolved around attaining freedom from the limitations of modern society.

This game basically revolves around troubled high school students which consist of the main protagonist and his compatriots. These teenagers realized that they are living in a corrupted and dangerous world, so in order to seek freedom and justice they formed a group called Phantom Thieves of Hearts. With the assistance of Personas, they try to change the adults by entering their hearts.

Those games that were released around October can be your friend until the end of the year. The gameplay vary from turn-based to action and strategy so you can choose one or more that will suits you best. As for me, I choose Persona 5 Royal since Persona series never disappoint us. Even if you already finished Persona 5 it is still worth it to play the expanded version with more surprises.
