Sony to End PlayStation 3 Production in Japan Soon

After 11 years since its launch, Sony has finally decided to end the production of PlayStation 3 in Japan, according to the official Japanese PlayStation website.

PlayStation 3 was first released in November 2006 in Japan and North America, followed by Europe in March 2007. The console also comes with various versions over the years such as the Slim version and the Super Slim version.

Sony did say that the console will last for at least 10 years, and the time has come. Besides, the hardwares are outmatched to its successor.
