New Persona 5 Feature “Mementos” is Introduced + Updates on The Opening Animation

Atlus is hosting a special broadcast in NicoNico Livestream right now. They shared some gameplay footage about the characters’ daily life and the release date of Persona 5 The Animation previously. Now, they also revealed a new Persona 5 feature called Mementos. It is a ‘free-roam quest’ that is said to equal with Persona 4‘s entire dungeon area.

Mementos are different with the story dungeons. Everything inside it is ‘auto-generated‘,  and you can roam the dungeon by using Morgana who transformed into a ‘bus’. You can check the entire area and take on various requests here.

New Persona 5 feature mementos introduced + Futaba Haru Makoto included in updated opening animation Persona 5

Beside mementos, Atlus also shared a new updated opening animation for Persona 5 game. This is the same opening animation that we have seen before, but the three new girls (Futaba, Makoto, Haru) have a scene now. Watch the video below:

In the live broadcast, Atlus also shared the game’s opening scenes and gameplay. It contains some spoilers, so you may want to skip the video below.
