| By: Handoko Lun

Square Enix was at Monaco Anime Game International Conference 2017 (MAGIC 2017), and director Tetsuya Nomura showcased new screenshots for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III during the presentation.

The official Twitter account of each respective franchises shared the screenshots right after the panel, one for Kingdom Hearts III and two for Final Fantasy VII Remake.

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE

The screenshots for Final Fantasy VII Remake show Cloud’s infiltration into a Mako Reactor area and a battle against the Guard Scorpion, the very first boss battle in the original game.

KINGDOM HEARTS III

The latest screenshot for Kingdom Hearts III shows the Guard Form, which was teased back in October 2016.

Nomura also said something at MAGIC 2017 in Monaco. Here’s the translation of what Nomura said at the event, via Dandelion of KH Insider.

This is the first time we’re showing this screenshot of Kingdom Hearts III, it’s happening in Thebes and they are fighting a new type of Heartless. The Keyblade can transform into a lot of things. When in Power Form it can be changed into a chariot.

Unfortunately, Square Enix said nothing about when these two games are going to be released, not even a hint.

Kingdom Hearts III will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in the future. Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development for PlayStation 4.
