Fire Emblem Echoes & Fire Emblem Heroes Announced; Fire Emblem Warriors Release is Revealed

A surprise is coming for Fire Emblem series’ fans. Recently Nintendo has just announced two Fire Emblem games, Fire Emblem Echoes and Fire Emblem Heroes. In addition, Fire Emblem Warriors release window is also revealed!

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, or Fire Emblem Echoes, is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, the second game in the series which is only released in Japan on 1992. This game will feature dual protagonists: Alm and Celica. This game will feature featuring free-roaming, dungeons and flexible character progression, which is different from the other Fire Emblem games. This game releases on May 19th in 3DS with a two pack of Amiibo of the game’s protagonists which can be seen above. Below, you can also watch the announcement trailer, courtesy of GameXplain!

Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes is the first mobile game for Fire Emblem! It features characters from past games and specifically designed for play in short bursts. The maps will be limited to an 8×6 grid to fit on phone screens, along with touch options for gameplay. Weapon triangle system, which allows players attack enemies based on weaknesses and strengths, also makes a return. Players are able to summon more heroes to join their team through Orbs. Those orbs are earned in gameplay or purchased as microtransactions. The more you summon heroes, the less Orbs are required to summon.

Fire Emblem Heroes will have entirely redone art and newly-recorded voices. Players will have the option of playing the main quest, or training heroes via the Training Tower. Special Maps which will hold seasonal events and Arena Duels where players will fight for high scores are also available. In addition, fans are able to pick which heroes can appear in the game with the Fire Emblem Heroes – Choose Your Legends voting event here.

Fire Emblem Heroes will be available on iOS and Google Play this February. The game will be free to download with in-app purchases. Furthermore, watch the game’s announcement trailer and opening movie below!

Fire Emblem Warriors

After having Fire Emblem Warriors announced as one of the Nintendo Switch games’ to be released this year, finally a release window for Fire Emblem Warriors is revealed. It will come on Fall this year for Nintendo Switch and the New 3DS. Meanwhile, you can check the extended trailer below.


Fire Emblem Heroes will launch on February 2 2017 for iOS and Android. Additionally, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia will come to 3DS on May 19 while Fire Emblem Warriors will release for Nintendo Switch in Fall 2017. Read more posts related to Fire Emblem series here.
