| By: Bismuth

Square Enix has updated Dragon Quest XI‘s official website. New screenshots and information about the game are added. It is worth noting that the overview given about the story is quite surprising! You can read more about Dragon Quest XI story twist and the new screenshots below!

Story Overview

Previously, the information we’ve gotten is that the hero finds out that he is the reincarnation of a “hero” that once saved the world. Thus, he must take on a big mission and goes to his journey. In the new detail, however, the detail is twisted as the “hero” isn’t quite a hero!

“Based on a revelation from his mother, mentioning that everything will be clear if he goes to the kingdom of Delcada, the protagonist eventually finds himself in front of the king. He tells him that he is the “Hero,” but the king responds “I will tell you who the Hero is.”

The truth revealed by the king is that the Hero is the son of the devil. At the order of the king the soldiers surround the hero with weapons drawn. What on Earth could be happening? The story of the legendary “Hero” takes a quick turn and events are set in motion. What could the fate of the hero be?”

New Screenshots

New screenshots are released along with the new information. As always, both PS4 and 3DS version get their respective screenshots. New characters, Veronica and Senya, are also revealed.

Dragon Quest XI will be available for Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and PlayStation 4 in the future before March 27, 2017 in Japan. Read more post related to Dragon Quest here.
