Dragon Quest XI Release Date, Footages, & Slime DualShock 4 Revealed!

About a month after the latest Dragon Quest XI news, today we’ll bring you its massive update! Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest XI release date! Not only the release date, but we also bring you other Dragon Quest XI news: box art, new gameplay videos, trailers, and official slime DualShock 4!

Dragon Quest XI Release Date, Box Art, & Pack

Dragon Quest XI will launch for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo 3DS on July 29th in Japan. Square Enix has also launched the game’s official box art and ‘Hero Sword Box‘ double pack. It contains both versions and will be sold on the Square Enix store and Lawson HMV Stores for 14,960 yen.

Three new trailers for the game were released. The first one shows both versions, the second one features PS4 gameplay, while the third one shows 3DS gameplay.

Square Enix is also making an official controller for the game. The dimensions are 145mm wide x 145mm deep x 124mm tall. Additionally, it comes with DualShock 4 features like gyrometer, stereo headset jack, and a built-in mono speaker. It’ll cost 9,980 yen plus tax and will release at the same day as Dragon Quest XI in Japan.


Dragon Quest XI will be available for 3DS, and PlayStation 4 on July 29th 2017 in Japan. Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch version is yet to be announced. Read more post related to Dragon Quest here.
